Program runs but can't access it

I just downloaded and installed the 2.6.5 client program. When I start the program, the login splash screen appears for a second or two, then disappers. It doesn't add any icon to the system tray and in task manager it shows the process as running, however I have no way of viewing it. Has anyone else had this problem before?

This is a known issue with the old and obsolete version of LC2. This version is no longer being developed and you should install LC2.NET.

LC2.NET is the new one and LC2 is the old one.
