How do I install the gadget on Windows Sidebar?

Hi,

Don't know if I missed something somewhere, but I can't work out how to install the gadget for Windows Sidebar. Is it documented somewhere or if not can you help me.

This is for Windows Vista and Windows XP. Just run the file and click install. Then click on the wrench to configure.

Sorry but the gadget is a zip file, if i uncompress there are some html, xml, jpeg files but no install file . How do i install it in Windows 7 gadgets ?

No, the extension on the gadget is .gadget.

a gadget file is actually a zip file with the extension name changed, perhaps your computer changes the extension some how. If it is showing as a .zip file for you then you could try changing the extension to .gadget as it is originally on the download server. Not sure why your computer would change it unless something recognized it as a zip file and just changed it when you download.

The server file is the only download that is a .zip file.

I renamed the .zip into .gadget and it has installed fine !

Configuration is easy (url , loggin , password) but it always stays in "loading" ...

The same url and credentials via IE works fine ...

Any other configuration to do ?
